About WaarMoto

WaarMoto.com is the small adventure and dual-sport motorcycle brand behind World ADV Dispatch, a free weekly newsletter on the world of adventure motorcycling. It is run from a garage in Calgary, Alberta by Keith and Andrea Waara. They have been married thirty-one years and each rides their own bike. Keith grew up riding the backcountry of the Rockies in northern British Columbia. Andrea started riding three years ago at fifty.

Why we started

There is no shortage of motorcycle content online. There is a shortage of motorcycle content that respects your time. Most weeks, knowing what’s happening in adventure motorcycling means scrolling forums, half-watching YouTube, and missing the actual news because it’s buried under tutorials and sponsored posts. World ADV Dispatch is the briefing we wanted to receive, one page, every Thursday, written by people who ride.

What we cover

We amplify the best adventure and dual-sport content already published across the web each week. Every issue runs the same six sections: This Week's Lead, Industry & Bikes, Gear & Parts, Riding Skills, Travel & Routes, and From Our Garage. We write a short editor's note on each piece so you know what you'll get if you click. Then we close every issue with a brief signed note from one of us.

What we don’t cover

We don’t cover race or rally results. There are great outlets already doing that. We don’t run anonymous “best-of” lists. We don’t review gear we haven’t ridden with. We don’t repost press releases without saying what we think.

Independent

World ADV Dispatch is free to read and supported by sponsorship and affiliates. Sponsors are clearly labeled in every issue. No story placement, no payment for coverage. If we ever recommend a product, it’s because we’d buy it with our own money.
